However, Odisha hosts three of the major mass nesting beaches of olive ridleys which supports a significant portion of the global population. Though several ecological studies were carried out along the Odisha coast in past few decades, the turtles breeding along the Odisha coast presently are new generation of turtles while the older ones perished due to several reasons. This study can signify the changes occurred in due course of time. The present study was carried out at the Rushikulya rookery of Odisha along the east coast of India, which examined the nesting beach fidelity, inter rookery movements and post nesting migration of olive ridley sea turtles at the rookery. The study focused on the congregation of reproductive patches and relative density of Olive Ridleys in near shore waters prior to arribada, onshore and off shore population of Olive Ridleys and other sea turtles at the ro
