The significantly better performance of the private schools over the Government schools raised many criticisms against the later. Many experts explain such difference in achievement of students of the two school systems in terms of differences in parental factors, more particularly involvement of parents in education of their wards. However little empirical data on how parents of students in both school systems are involved in education of their children is available.
