The increase in the mortality rate is due to a lack of proper resources to monitor health status, especially in remote areas. The risk of cardiovascular disease can be eased by regular monitoring of cardiovascular health for early diagnosis and timely treatment. Vital signs such as heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP) and respiratory rate (RR) are important parameters used to diagnose cardiovascular disease. Accurate analysis of vital signs in realtime helps in the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, non-invasive, accurate monitoring of vital signs with wearable devices has gained significant research interest. The electrocardiogram (ECG) through electric signals and the photoplethysmography (PPG) through optical measurements are the two popular non-invasive methods used to monitor vital signs. ECG is a dominant monitoring technique to detect irregularities in the cardiovascular system due to its highly accurate and re
