The main concept behind this study was to find safer cytotoxics with additional anti-oxidant properties. In first part of research, anti-oxidant activity of leaf extracts of Azadirachta indica and Calotropis procera and microbial metabolites of Bacillus megaterium and Escherichia coli were assessed by DPPH activity, total anti-oxidant activity and total reductive capability. Microbial metabolite production was also enhanced by media optimisation and varying certain physiological parameters like pH and temperature whereas plant metabolites were extracted by soaking the leaf powder in several solvents (Methanol, Ethanol, Di-Methyl Sulphoxide, Chloroform, Distilled Water, Boiled Extracts and Ethyl Acetate) and analyse its anti-oxidant and anti-cancer potential. Cancer is known to be a multifacet disorder with highest mortali |
