This information can be particular value for developing the goals of a conditioning program and can provide a basis for clinical evaluation and the selection of parameters included in such an evaluation process. Anaerobic training generally results in fewer acute and chronic responses in the cardiovascular and respiratory systems although low-intensity, high-volume resistance exercise produces some responses that are similar to those with aerobic exercise. Aim: The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of aerobic and anaerobic training on selected pulmonary variables of untrained college men. To achieve this purpose of the study, forty five college untrained men students from St.Micheal College of engineering and technology, Kalayarkovil, Tamilnadu, India were selected as subjects, at random. Their age group ranged between 18 to 24 years. Experimental Des
