To achieve this purpose of the study, forty five men kabaddi players from affiliated colleges of Alagappa University, Karaikudi, were selected as subjects at random. Their age ranged between eighteen to twenty eight years. The study was formulated as pre and post -test random group design, in which forty five men kabaddi players were divided into three equal groups. The experimental group 1 (n = 15, TRT group) underwent traditional resistance training, the experimental group 2 (n = 15, CT group) underwent complex training, and control group-3 (n= 15, CP) did not undergo any specific training. The dependent variables speed, muscular strength, explosive power, muscular strength endurance, agility, flexibility and VO2 max, were tested and measured by 50 meters run (in seconds), push-ups (in numbers), vertical jump test (in centimeters), sit ups
