Each of these oils is also an anti- inflammatory agent. If it is taken orally, it causes disorders in the gastrointestinal tract, the kidneys, and the liver. Therefore, in order to circumvent the aforementioned disadvantage, it is necessary to apply the medication topically.Based on the results obtained from preliminary investigations, the drug exhibited solubility and melting point characteristics comparable to the established standard. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was employed to assess the compatibility of Aloe vera extract, Eucalyptol, and Clove oil with specific polymers. Xanthan gum, Sodium Alginate, and Guar Gum were employed as gelling agents in the formulation of the polyherbal Emulgel. |
