| 520 | __ | |aThe present work deals with the formulation and optimization of pectin-based colonnewlinespecific microparticles and pellets containing Resveratrol. Pectin based microparticlesnewlineand pellets coated with Cellulose acetate phthalate containing Resveratrol werenewlineformulated with in five different batches (MF1-MF5 and PF1-PF5). Box-Behnken designnewline(BBD) matrix was applied to optimise the core formulations. Systematic optimization ofnewlineuncoated microsphere was done by Box-Behnken design (BBD) employing three criticalnewlinefactors, pectin concentration (A); Stirring speed (B) and Span 80 concentration (C).newlineParticle size (and#956;m), entrapment efficiency (EE %) and recovery (%) were the key CQAs.newlinePectin microparticles and pellets were coated by CAP using the oil-in-oil solventnewlineevaporation method. Characterisation of the formulations were done by determination ofnewlinepercentage yield, micromeritics properties, drug loading and entrapment efficiencynewlinefollowed by particle s |
