The effect of zirconium substitution on the structural, magnetic, and dielectric properties of the hexaferrites was studied using FTIR, XRD, Raman, SEM, VSM, and low-frequency dielectric measurements. The XRD analysis revealed the formation of the M-phase in addition to the and#945;-Fe2O3 and SrFe2O4 phases. Lattice constants and cell volume increased slightly with Zrcontent. The zirconium-substituted samples exhibited better morphology with a hexagonal platelet structure compared to the pure sample. Raman spectra of all samples showed seven Raman-active modes: 4A1g, 2E1g, and 1E2g. M-H loops analysis shows that the samples with x = 0.00 to 0.60 exhibited hard ferrite nature, while x = 0.90 was magnetically soft, but all heated samples possessed a multi-domain structure. Ms varied from 28.24 to 42.13 Am2/kg, while Hc changed from 139 to 2499 Oe. The dielectric constants o
