Greener chemical reactions can overcome most of the problems associated with environment along with high productivity. Easy recyclable approaches used in green chemistry are utilization of supercritical fluids (eg. sc CO2), water, fluorous solvents, polyethylene glycol (PEG), solvent free condition, glycerol, liquid polymers, room temperature ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents (DESs) etc. Among these, DESs are the most recent ones introduced in 2001. This methodology for organic synthesis has obtained major attention due to the serious damage of environment by the use of hazardous chemicals in industries. This is based on the green aspects of sustainable chemical transformations like atom economy, free from using organic solvents, energy efficiency etc. Deep eutectic solvent is actually a makeover of ionic liquids with additional advantages, but cannot be considered as conventional ILs; some of their comp
