520 | __ | |aThe constant desire for better catalytic performance drives us to seek out new materials. Following the discovery of dendrimers, the idea of employing them as catalysts was developed. The two most essential structural properties are their three-dimensional structure and numerous terminal functional groups. First, a brief overview of dendrimers is offered in this thesis, with a focus on polyol cored dendrimers as catalysts. The dendrimer-based catalytic systems have shown recent advancements. There are nine chapters in the thesis. Dendrimers, dendritic polymers, and their metal complexes are introduced in Chapter 1. It provides an overview of recent discoveries and applications of dendrimer-based catalysts, as well as a brief summary of the importance of homogeneous and heterogeneous dendrimer catalysis. The various analytical procedures for the characterization of synthetic dendrimer systems are also discussed.
