Terahertz communication is a promising technology that could potentially revolutionize wireless communications. Various antenna designs with characteristics that are suitable for short range THz communication, including 5G and beyond are presented in this research work. The study aims numerous design techniques that are used to create high performance THz antennas. It also aims to look at cutting-edge techniques for designing terahertz antennas exhibiting both linear and circular polarization. Different kinds of compact planar antennas exhibiting wide bandwidth with circular polarization are presented. The diverse antenna configurations in this range of frequencies viz microstrip, slotted waveguide, substrate integrated waveguide, Yagi Uda, and Luneburg lens integrated with subst |
