520__|aThe Terahertz (THz) band of frequencies (0.1-10 THz) help to overcome the spectrum scarcity limitation of the current wireless network, by providing large bandwidth and data rate and fills the gap between electronics and photonics. Terahertz communication is a promising technology that could potentially revolutionize wireless communications. Various antenna designs with characteristics that are suitable for short range THz communication, including 5G and beyond are presented in this research work. The study aims numerous design techniques that are used to create high performance THz antennas. It also aims to look at cutting-edge techniques for designing terahertz antennas exhibiting both linear and circular polarization. Different kinds of compact planar antennas exhibiting wide bandwidth with circular polarization are presented.
