520__|aEnvironmental degradation caused by consumerism is a pressing global concern, emphasizing the need for sustainable consumption practices like the Zero Waste Lifestyle (ZWL). This study investigates the behavioral factors influencing ZWL adoption and the intention-behavior gap within the context of zero waste consumerism. Drawing upon the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Norm Activation Model (NAM), the study explores the psychological determinants of ZWL adoption among two distinct groups: zero waste consumers and general consumers. A non-probability sampling technique gathers responses from 346 zero waste consumers and 339 general consumers.
