These transactions require unassailable security in the open and public environment of the Internet. The cunning and sophisticated attempts by malicious actors to breach the privacy and security of transactional data make it difficult to establish trustworthy connections. Modern communication systems rely heavily on the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). It is used to establish trust and secure communications between different entities, such as servers and clients, over a network. The PKI relies on the use of digital certificates, which are issued and managed by Certificate Authorities (CAs). The security of the PKI is essential to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of communication systems. However, the PKI is vulnerable to several attacks, including those targeting the CAs. Compromised CAs can issue fraudulent digital certificates that can be us |
