NCDs such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancers, obesity and microbial infections can interact adversely, together with factors like urbanization, dietary patterns, and sedentary lifestyle, which have become the main drivers of health epidemics. Research and development have been launched for joint interventions against noncommunicable and infectious diseases to make it an important policy consideration that requires new rational approaches. As natural products from plants are receiving increasing attention; the potential advantages of leaves and seeds of M. oleifera as novel antimicrobial and anti-obesity candidates have been researched in this study. Extraction, characterization and in silico molecular docking of bioactives from M. oleifera leaves and seeds were studies. Various secondary metabolites, high number of phytochemicals and essential vitamins were found in both leaves and seeds of Mori |
