520 | __ | |aThe NFT study aims to increase working memory by increasing the higher alpha band of electroencephalography (EEG). Patients were trained utilising visual cues as feedback over the course of five sessions. EEG signals may be captured using a single channel EEG. The Higher Alpha band was computed for each participant using the unique alpha frequency band. The signal in the upper alpha band (10- 13hz) was retrieved using lab view software. The patient was then told to unwind by gazing at the device's natural scenery. Higher alpha waves so take priority over lower alpha waves. The brain produces alpha waves when a person is relaxed. As a consequence, the NFT retrains the brain to produce alpha waves on its own and enhances activity after training. The participants were able to learn and increase amplitude levels in certain alpha bands, according to the results of this NFT setup.
