It is tough to adopt. There will be some obstruction for change. In this study, the researcher attempted to study employee resistance towards change in the automobile sector of Chennai. In this study, the researcher proposed to found the sources for resistance to change. Implications of the study may be useful to the industry practitioners. The questionnaires from the factors such as Organization culture, fear of unknown, incompetence, etc. have been chosen for this work from well-known automobile industries namely Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Ford India Private Ltd, and Renault India Private Ltd with a respondents size of 1150 respondents.
