520__|aBreast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women around the globe. In spite of modernization and readily accessible methods like self-examination, MMR and clinical diagnosis still breast cancer extracts a heavy toll in women s life next to lung cancer. Lenalidomide is an angiogenesis inhibitor with immune-modulatory properties and possess lesser toxicity when compared with Thalidomide and other teratogenic agents. In this study the anti-carcinogenic role and efficacy of Lenalidomide in experimentally induced breast cancer in rats was studied. The animals were divided into five group and Lenalidomide effect at two different doses were compared with Docetaxel effects. The study showed Lenalidomide group had a marked reduction in hematological parameter. This adverse effect is accounted for myelosuppression of Lenalidomide. An increase in oxidative enzyme levels was seen in treatment group. The histopathological study reveals ductal carcinoma induced by 7,12DMBA and reduction in malignant cells in
