The length of the beam was 1150 mm , width 150 mm and depth 150mm. The size of the conventional slender beam was 2000 mm × 125 mm × 200 mm. On the tension side, traditional beams were reinforced with 12 mm steel bars as secondary reinforcement and 16 mm steel bars as main reinforcement. The plain concrete was reinforced with 0.5 mm diameter fibres in respect of both categories of beams. The hooked end steel fibre of 30 mm length and aspect ratio of 50 were used. Concrete materials were weigh batched and mixed using a proportion according to IS10262:2019 with w/c of 0.50 in a mechanical mixture to achieve a characteristic compressive of M30. The specimens were cured for 28 days. The Total beam specimens of 15, cube specimens of 7 were casted using self compacting concrete. Three types of beam joints specimen are casted. Each type comprises of five s
