Present investigation on Cissusquadrangularis plant and Cardiospermumhalicacabum plant crude ethanol extract and methanol extract was subjected both individually and in combination to study the phytochemical, antimicrobial, antioxidant, anticancer potential and proliferation properties of the plants. The phytochemical studies of Cissusquadrangularis and Cardiospermumhalicacabum revealed that the ethanolic and methanolic extracts contained wide range of metabolites. Tannins, saponins, alkaloids, steroids and phenols were predominantly found in both the plant extracts sample. Test sample plant extracts exhibited standard antimicrobial action specifically to growth of Bacillus subtilisorganismand Trichodermavirideorganismboth individually and in combined proportions. Antioxidant activity of the combined ethanol extract was double of individual extract. The result revealed that the cytotoxicity of the extracts |
