Recent study advances have exposed the prospective of stem cells in enhancing the quality and rate of wound healing and renewing the skin as well as its appendages. Stem cell established therapeutic approaches offer new projections in the medical technology for burn and wound care. Thus, the current research was done to study the efficiency of bone marrow differentiated dermal precursors and Eclipta prostrata on third degree burns induced skin and appendages of rat. Method: The plant extract was prepared and phytochemical screening was done. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) was isolated from the bone marrow of rats and flow cytometry analysis of stem cell count was carried out. Wistar albino rats weighing 150-180g were taken for this study to test the comparative efficacy of treatment against skin wound. New procedure for burnt model was tested, treated with MSC, plant extract and silver nitrate gel and |
