520__|aIn a database management system a significant effort is essential to prepare a dataset from normalized table that can be used as a response for a data mining or statistical algorithms. Most of the data mining algorithms require input as a dataset with horizontal representation. It is a difficult task to prepare the dataset in a relational database engine for data mining analysis. The traditional structured query language aggregate functions have restrictions to prepare data sets as they return the records in one column per group. To achieve a reduced representation of the dataset in volume, but produce the same analytical results, this research presents a new algorithm named Transpose of Aggregated Column (TOAC). This is used to transform data into a horizontal layout representation for data mining analysis. As a result the transformed data has taken less storage size. If the same data is transferred into the cloud, the consumption of internet bandwidth and storage size occupied by the data is considerably
