520__|aThe human cerebrum comprises two hemispheres with diversified function. It is asymmetrical. Laterality means that though the two cerebral hemispheres are approximately uniform in feature they are not symmetrical in functions or structure. Almost 90% of the chosen population show a preference for right hand, where men as well as young persons showed somewhat lower incidences of right hand preference. The left out 10% of the population are left handed. Individuals who use their right hand maximal are called right handers and those who use their left hand mostly are called as left handers. Ambidextrous are those who use both their hands equally well, mostly all the time. Left handers had to undergo a lot of hardships in their day to day life.
