520__|aThe thesis aims to know the effectiveness of training programmes offered to employees in small and medium enterprises in Chennai. Successful employees of Training were influenced by various factors of training, which have been analysed in a detailed manner in this research. Demographic variables is analysed in a detailed order with respect to the different age group, educational qualifications, experience, designation, type of the organisation, annual turnover of the organisation etc. In this research study, employees opinion survey played key a role which reflected 9 factors such as perception, needs, awareness, utilisation, attitude, talent acquired, satisfaction, implement of training and successful of training which played a significant role to find the effectiveness of training. A Structural Equation Model (SEM) has been developed for this research study. The factors of SEM influenced to know the effectiveness of training.
