In addition to the challenges of managing and scheduling resources reliable challenges arise because the grid infrastructure is unreliable.newlineThere are two major problems in Scheduling the Grid 1) Efficient Scheduling of jobsnewline2) Providing fault tolerance in a reliable manner.newlineMany of the existing scheduling strategies are using different algorithms for scheduling independent jobs and interdependent jobs. Most of the scheduling strategies do not provide fault tolerance for scheduling the workflows. There are some algorithms which provide fault tolerance but, they do a significant measure of redundant computation to provide fault tolerance. By keeping the above points in mind we have developed,newlineimplemented and tested a new strategy to provide fault tolerant scheduling of workflows in grid computing environment.newlineIn the initial part we |
