520__|aSteganograhy is a method of secret communication that hides the presence of hidden message where it conceals messages in another cover medium like text, audio, video or image file. After inserting the original data bits on carrier file, it is called as stego file. If the carrier file used in the process of steganography is a color image, then that technique is called color image steganography. All the standard existing image steganographic techniques make use of LSB (Least Significant Bit) algorithms and some variations on it. Much of the research work was done on gray scale as well as onnewlinecolor images. All most all the exiting steganographic algorithms will have a tradeoff between the data hiding capacity and stego image quality. In all the existing spatial domain or transform domain steganographic techniques, if the embedding capacity is more, then there is more distortion in the quality of stego image. When the embedding capacity is less, then the quality of the stego image is improved.newline
