New techniques are essential in order to fulfill this enormous communication demand by utilizing the limited resources such as bandwidth and power as efficient as possible. Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems with multiple antenna elements at both link ends is an effective solution for next generation wireless communication systems as they provide high data rates by making use of the spatial domain under the limitations of restricted bandwidth and transmit power. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the various techniques like orthogonal space-time block code, adaptive multiuser detection technique and successive interference cancellation method. These techniques can reduce the bit error rate, improve capacity of system and cancel the interference of signals. It improves the performance and enhances the operation of next generation wireless communication system. |
