Fault tolerance is a very important issue in mission critical newlineapplications. With the technology development as the device size is reducing newlineday by day, chances of fault occurrence are also increasing. In order to have newlinean uninterrupted functioning of the system, we should make sure that the newlineoccurrence of faults does not affect the system. A system can be designed as newlinefault tolerant by providing suitable mechanisms of fault detection, fault newlineanalysis and fault correction or fault avoidance in the design. This can be newlineachieved by incorporating an efficient fault tolerance mechanism with the system functionality. A computing system which can be reconfigured depending on the functionality requirement is called as a reconfigurable computing system (RCS). Such kind of a computing system can |
