(Cruciferae), Moringa oleifera Lam. (Moringacea) and Amaranthus tricolor Linn. (Amaranthaceae) which are widely cultivated and consumed, have been reported for having number of medicinal properties. However limited reports newlineavailable to show their effect on gastric ulcers; this is the base for selecting these plants. The core objectives of this work comprised to assess the outcome of various leaf extracts of Raphinus sativus, newlineMoringa oleifera and Amaranthus tricolor on gastric and duodenal ulcers in rats, followed by the isolation of phytoconstituents from the leaf extracts having potent anti-ulcer activity. newlineMethods: The effect of different leaf fractions of Raphinus sativus, newlineMoringa oleifera and Amaranthus tricolor on stom
