520__|aConsiderable amount of work has been carried in designing various control strategies for Load Frequency Control (LFC) of multi area regulated/deregulated environment consisting of Thermal stations. Only few control strategies are proposed for the said problem consisting of Hydro-Thermal Power Plants in deregulated environment. They are basically Artificial Intelligent Technique based fuzzy logic and neural network. This probably may be researchers would like to use model free algorithms because of the complexities in mathematical model of highly nonlinear Hydro-Thermal system. Linear control strategies are well proven but have the limitation in implementing for nonlinear systems. Nonlinear methods have the limitations for linearising nonlinear models that preserves nonlinearities of the system. Also while implementing feedback control laws for fine tuning the lack of knowledge of system variables.newline
