To extract a certain amount/class of data from the huge amount of data is a very difficult task, including text processing, information retrieval, text mining, pattern recognition, DNA sequencing and data cleaning. Such extraction demands concurrent events and high performance processing models for extraction. It is indeed a challenging task. One of the solutions to the problem is concurrent job for matching string on processing models.newlineThough it is stated and some of the simple mechanisms perform very well in practice, plenty of research has been published on the subject and research is still active in this area and there are ample opportunities to develop new techniques. For this purpose, this thesis has proposed two parallel approaches, namely, N-folded and numeral N-folded mechanisms, which are partitions that the input files into sub_files and these sub_files are distributed to the respective processors.newlineN-folded mechani |
