Qualitative and quantitative phytochemical studies were performed to identify andnewlinequantify the main chemical constituents.newlineThe pharmacological study included oral glucose tolerance test, determination of fasting blood sugar levels, serum lipid profile, serum insulin levels, liver glycogen content and changes in body weight. Various in vitro and in vivo antioxidant studies were carried out tonewlineevaluate the effect of the plants on free radicals mediated tissue injury. |
