These factors include generators capabilities, types ofnewlinegenerators owned, fuel costs, transmission losses and settling pricenewlinevariation. It demonstrates how proper analysis of these factors usingnewlinethe solutions of Optimal Power Flow (OPF), can allow companies tonewlinemaximize overall revenue. Through this OPF analysis, companies willnewlinebe able to determine, for example, which generators are mostnewlineeconomical to run, best locations for generators to be situated at, andnewlinealso the scheduling of generators as demand changes throughout the day and season. It illustrates how solutions of OPF can be used to maximize companies revenue under different scenarios.
